Obi Aguocha wins at Abia election petition tribunal

Chief Obi AguochaThe National and State Houses of Assembly Election Petition Tribunal for Abia State sitting in Abuja has dismissed the petition: EPT/AB/HR/01/2023 of  Hon. Paul O. Meregini and Action Democratic  Party (ADP) against the election of the member elected to represent Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency, Hon. Obinna Aguocha of the Labour Party. 

The petition alleged that Action Democratic Party (ADP) logo was excluded on the House of Representatives election ballot paper.

The Tribunal held that the petition was lacking in merit and therefore dismissed same.

Counsel to Aguocha, Ume Kalu, SAN, and Anaga Kalu applauded the tribunal for the judgement.
