One of the photos captured Ruto and Raila shaking hands, with both wearing happy faces.
The photo generated a lot of reactions from netizens, some saying it was a blow to Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua.
Using funny quotes, netizens said a political handshake between the two leaders was in the offing.
