It was almost like a scene taken out of an action movie when a husband attempted to run over his wife and when that failed, shot her in broad daylight.
EMER-G-MED ATTENDS TO A BRUTAL GBV MATTER
Emer-G-Med whose paramedics among other emergency service providers were at the scene narrated this disturbing incident.
“At approximately 14h30 Emer-G-Med paramedics together with ALS paramedic services and Mobi Claw responded to the scene of a shooting incident outside a primary school in the Berea West area.
On arrival on the scene, an adult female was found with serious injuries. Advanced Life Support intervention was needed to stabilize her before she was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for further care,” the report read.

HUSBAND WANTED HIS WIFE DEAD
Reports from the scene are that a male believed to be her husband, first attempted to run her over with a light motor vehicle, crashing into a precast concrete fence.
He then alighted from his vehicle, drew a pistol and fired several shots at her, striking her, before he fled the scene.
“The South African Police Services were in attendance and will be conducting the necessary investigation accordingly.”
