An elderly woman is now beaming with happiness as benevolent Nigerians have come to her rescue following the loss of her family members and residence.
News of her plight spread quickly through a Twitter Update posted by @alakowee, on the 13th of May, two days ago, capturing the attention and sympathy of fellow Nigerians.
The Kwara-based woman recounted a series of saddening misfortunes, one of which was a tragic incident that reportedly claimed the lives of her five beloved children, leaving her inconsolable.

Adding to her anguish, she then lost her home and was rendered homeless.
This informed Alakowe’s decision to share her story and seek assistance for her.
This woman lost all her children to a tragic occurrence and now left alone without a place to call home. Imagine the pain and suffering she must be enduring.

People from all walks of life, moved by her tragic circumstances, stepped forward to extend a helping hand by donating to her welfare.
The donated funds are reportedly being used to build her a new home, and also on basic necessities for her.
In a separate Update, posted just two days later on the 16th of May, the lady stood in front of a building under construction, presumed to be the house being built on her behalf, and expressed gratitude to Nigerians for the kindness shown to her.
I told Mama “You may feel like the world has forgotten about you, but I want you to know that there are people out there who care deeply about you.”
