JUST IN: Benue Pilgrims Travelling to Abuja Involved in Accident
A set of pilgrims on their way to Abuja from Benue state have been involved in an accident.
The intending pilgrims were said to be on their way to Abuja to prepare for airlifting to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Sources at the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) and the Benue State Pilgrims Welfare Board have confirmed the incident to PRNIGERIA.
Details of the accident were however sketchy at the time of filing this report.
This is happening barely 48 hours after pilgrims from Nasarawa state who were travelling to Abuja for airlifting were also involved in an accident.
While no one died in that accident, majority of the pilgrims have now arrived Madina, Saudi Arabia, for the commencement of the 2023 Hajj exercise.
