Breaking: Confusion as reported claims President Tinubu makes 3 key appointments

State House, Abuja – A report by Daily Trust on Monday, May 29 claimed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made his first set of appointments as Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

According to the newspaper, the newly inaugurated president appointed Ambassador Kunle Adeleke as the State Chief of Protocol (SCOP).

However, the newspaper deleted the report without any official announcement concerning the development.

The newly sworn-in president was reported to have made the 3 appointments shortly after his inauguration on Monday, May 29.

Before now, there have been speculations as to who and who will make Tinubu’s first appointment as soon as he resumes office.

Earlier in the day, James Abiodun Faleke, the secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential campaign council, and a re-elected House of Representatives member denounced the tension of the expectation on the first appointments.

However, Adeleke disclosed that Tinubu is expected to announce all his appointments within the next 60 days after resuming office, citing a newly enacted law by former President Muhammadu Buhari
