Doma United coach targets Federation Cup success

Doma United head coach, Akinade Onigbinde has shifted attention to the Federation Cup after his side failed to qualify for the Nigeria Premier Football League Super Six playoffs.

The Savannah Tigers failed to make it to the Super Six playoff despite a strong showing.

But the tactician disclosed that his players have recovered from the disappointment.

Onigbinde however assured that his players are ready to go all the way in the competition.

Doma United will take on Edel FC in the round of 16 at the Area 3 pitch Abuja today.

“It’s disappointing not to make it to the NPFL Super Six playoff after a strong fight to make the spot.

“We have moved on and we are ready to make progress in the Federation Cup with a win today against Edel FC.

“We are giving it a good fight to try and win the cup competition today,” he told DAILY POST.
