He pointed out that the panel includes a judge from the Southwest, where the President-elect is from, and a judge from the same region as the PDP candidate involved in the trial.
Disu emphasized the need to be mindful of the country’s ethnic and cultural nuances, stating that it is crucial to take care of all interests to avoid sending a wrong signal.
He expressed his hope that the issue would be rectified, adding that it is essential to insist on doing things on merit while also considering diversity and representation.
