Abuja (Sundiata Post) – Former President of Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, and former Prelate of Methodist Church, Dr Sunday Mbang has died at the age 86.

The news of his death was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary of Conference of the Methodist Church Nigeria, Rt. Revd Dr Babatunde Taiwo.

The statement said that the first black president of the world Methodist council died on Tuesday, 16th May 2023.

The late Dr Sunday Mbang enrolled at Trinity College in 1962 and served for 44 years with an impactful earthly ministry.
