Nigerian Chef, Hilda Baci has broken the Guinness World Record for the Longest Cooking Marathon by an Individual.
Hilda surpassed the world record of 87 hours, 45 minutes.
The broken record was 87 hr 45 min 00 sec and was held by Lata Tondon (India) in Rewa on the 7th of September 2019.
Her actual name is Hilda Bassey Effiong. She is a young Nigerian chef from Akwa Ibom State. She owns a food brand in Lagos called ‘My Food by Hilda. She cooked for 4 days non-stop. She must stand to cook. She is not permitted to sit while cooking.
She was not allowed to take coffee, stimulants, or any energy drink to artificially boost her energy and bodily strength while cooking
Baci was allowed to eat food, drink water or fruit juice and take glucose The cooking took taking place at Amore Gardens, Lekki, Lagos State, Nigeria.
She cooks round the clock, no sleep (Morning, afternoon.
