May 23, (THEWILL) – The burial committee in charge of late Nollywood actor, Murphy Afolabi’s funeral, has called out Adunni Adewale, professionally known as Adunni Ade, over the money she owes the late actor.
During Afolabi’s 8-day Fidau Prayer, his burial committee called out the actress for owing the late actor the sum of N250,000.
The committee claimed that Adunni Ade was paid for a job, but unfortunately, Afolabi died before the movie was shot.
“Some people came out that Murphy owed them some amount of money before he died. But, we have now realised Murphy also paid someone for a job before he died. He paid Adunni Ade, N150k.
“We have been corrected, the amount Murphy paid Adunni Ade is N250,000. Please return the money to the burial committee, as we are soliciting funds for the children of the deceased.
“Please we plead with you to return the money, thank you.
“Please if you are here and you have money that belongs to Murphy, kindly return it. It shall be well with us”, the committee stated.
