The tribunal for the petition challenging the outcome of the 2023 presidential election has been adjourned by the presidential election petition tribunal to Wednesday, May 10. Kenneth Okonkwo, one of the spokespersons for the Labour Party, confirmed this in a tweet on Monday. The case was briefly heard before being adjourned to the specified date and time.

The presidential election petition tribunal began proceedings in Abuja on Monday. Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP) are both challenging the declaration of Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the February 25 presidential election.
