Kaizer Chiefs head coach Arthur Zwane has opened up on whether they will need to beef up the striking department as they continue to struggle to convert many chances they create.
Chiefs had a different approach in the second round of the season after they signed Christian Saile Basomboli in January from Nchanga Rangers.
Basomboli hit the ground running in his first few games and has been playing regularly alongside Ashley Du Preez, with Bonfils-Caleb Bimenyimana dropping to the bench.

Bimenyimana carried the hopes of Amakhosi upfront in the first round of the season but the goals dried up in the second round.
After being knocked out by Pirates in the Nedbank Cup semi-finals, Zwane was asked if the club would need to go to the market to get another striker, with concerns on Congolese forward’s form after he missed chances against the Buccaneers.
“Not really, look we’ll always want to beef up and if you look at the chances that we created (on Saturday) Saile was in the right place, ‘Ash’ (Ashley Du Preez) created the space for him to exploit and he did exploit the space but he just could not find the target which is something we can work on,” Zwane said in a press conference.

“It’s better than having a player on the field that doesn’t understand what you expect from him. So he was in the right area at the right time unfortunately we just could not convert.
“We cannot now put the blame on him because it’s the nature of football, you win some and lose some and sometimes you take those opportunities, sometimes you don’t take them and when you don’t take them you pay the price,” he said.
