According to Fichajes, Chelsea are in prime position to land Brazil’s all-time top goalscorer after reports emerged suggesting that the forward is now willing to leave the French capital.
There has been much uproar among the PSG faithful about Neymar’s continual absence from duty due to a number of persistent injuries, with some members the French club’s fan base recently protesting outside of the attacker’s home.
While the 31-year-old had previously stated that he wanted to finish his career in Paris, he is now understood to be open to leaving the Parc des Princes and is said to prefer a move to the Premier League.
Manchester United are also reported to be interested in his signature, but it seems the Blues are in pole position to sign the skilful attacker.
The PSG hierarchy is believed to be open to letting Neymar leave on an initial loan deal, which would make his acquisition more financially viable for any suitors.
The former Santos and Barcelona man is currently out of action with an ankle injury, but has managed to score 18 goals and provide 17 assists across all competitions for Les Parisiens this season, and the west Londoners will be hoping the Mogi das Cruzes native would bring this production to the English capital, especially with Chelsea having struggled to find the back of the net in 2022/23.
