Twitter removes verification tag on Osinabjo’s account

Popular social media platform, Twitter on Monday, removed the verification tag attached to the account of former Vice-president of Nigeria, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.

The tag is reportedly designed for the accounts of government officials.

Although the tag on Osinbajo’s account has been removed, the tag on the account of former President, Major-General Muhammadu Buhari(retd), remained.

Twitter is yet to to reveal reason for this removal.

Osinbajo and Buhari handed over to President Tinubu and Shettima today.
